CO2 Extraction
Using the solvent-free, non-chemical, and eco-friendly extraction method, we can provide a variety of full-spectrum CBD products.
Phase 1 & 2
CBD and other accompanying phytochemicals are extracted from the raw hemp material.
Phase 3
This last phase renders the material of any excess plant matter, including chlorophyll, to yield a higher percent of CBD.
Finish Line
CBD is naturally emulsified in organic sunflower oil and blended with any required terpenes or other natural flavors. The final product is sent out for third-party testing.
The percentages on our labels indicate the level of active CBD remaining in the material.
a.k.a. How Full Spectrum is it?
While all Smart Organics' CBD Oils are full-spectrum, some are thoroughly rendered of excess plant matter and chlorophyll (Phase 3). These oils labeled 18.5% are able to yield a higher percentage of active CBD since their accompanying phytochemicals are no longer present.
Oils labeled 7.9% or 14.15% are considered to be more full spectrum. The lower the percentage, the more room there is for other naturally occurring phytochemicals to be present.
Guarantees our raw hemp material to remain below the legal federal guideline of having less than 0.3% THC.
